Based in my client`s London office, the successful applicant`s primary responsibility is the provision of telephone technical support services to clients. There is also an opportunity to be involved in the provision of consultancy and training services for the right applicant. This is a technical role and a good understanding of databases, operating systems and network topologies is highly desirable. My client is looking for highly motivated technicians who have client facing business skills and are hungry for success.
Core Product Set:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or Oracle
- Windows Operating Systems
- UNIX
- SunSystems versions 4*5 or SAP R*3 BASIS
- Citrix Skills
- MCSE or equivalent
Experience:
A candidate with ideally one to two years of experience in a technical support role * helpdesk role would be required. The candidate should possess either SunSystems or SAP Basis skills. Oracle and UNIX skills would be advantageous but for the right candidate not essential.
Qualities:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for this role. The successful candidate must also possess exceptional communication skills and be a team player.
